Project:
Re-mobiling
Abstract:
In interaction design, one central challenge is to find and to explore the expressions of temporality such as for example rhythm pace and tempo. The framework presented here is focused on embodiment and time. We involved in the fascinating embodied process of sour dough baking to expand our temporal design space. The approach was to further develop a method called Aesthetic laborations (A-Lab). Through the sourdough process we could examine temporality from the perspectives of rest, rhythm and haptics in order to provide insights and inspiration in how we can manipulate the gestalt of temporality.
